Ellipse (A poem I am to send her)

[Bahamut]

the evolution of a year passed
still the endeavor set
burns clear, imprinted
on the inpenetrable memory lane

dust has aged the pictures
paper crumples in sight of time
and yet the print never runs away
and memory still picks it up with great accuracy

memory bids that we were together
on that blurred blue sky
memory says that you spoke of roses
sweet and clear on that christmas night

wheels have turned a full cycle
on where your rose for me is now buried
alongside mine, yet mine, is still up on the ground
blooming, every minute of everyday

we parted ways, without never knowing why
we tore our hearts, without never wondering why
yet i wonder, always asking the question
do you still have the rose i gave you?

i know i still have yours

(rose is equivalent to love. in essence, in this poem, rose is love, so when i say rose, it actually means love)

give it to her!! what do you have to lose? (besides a angry boyfriend who became a ex-boyfriend because of you, hehe just kidding). honestly, if you wish to give it, then do so, what do you have to lose by it?

coming from experience, i actually wrote a similar poem to a girl i was chasing last year (who broke my heart 2 times already ) and still turned me down again... sigh... but anyway here is goes:

When You Read this Letter
-It must be Christmas Day
-Morn or Eve/ Day or Night
-I hope you are doing Ok

-Today is “d” season to be jolly -today let no lie block thy eye
-Today only peace and love
-Today is Christmas time

-Time has passed by so fast
-You are in college, my high school wont last
-Nearly a year and a half of Friendship ties
-I thank thee for thy friendship that binds

-I thank thee for thy friendship
-Sometimes I wish for more or less
-I speak with an open heart
-I truly don’t know what is for the best

-I am not ready
-Yet ready am “I”?
-It’s been a year
-And all the time it’s been “hi”

-It’s been a year since that fatal incident
-A memory I wish to forget
-Now I guess I only ask for thy friendship
-Nothing more, nothing less

-Friendship I only ask
-And let bygones be bygones
-I wish to start anew
-And have the friendship we once knew

-Anyway I am far from the topic now
-Yet I have said what I wish to say

nothing special happened when i gave it to her, but it did make my heart feel a little better by giving it. (but she turned me down anyway). this one i just made a couple of months ago when i really wanted to say goodbye ( hey its my fault, i could not get over her for nearly 2 years )

but i never actually gave this to her yet, since i wanted to see if my courting change... answer: very little

but i still havent gotten around to give it to her... reason: i found a new girl [img]smile.gif[/img] . its kinda strange actually, i had no intention of her (my new GF) to be my GF but it just kinda happened last month actually. but i guess its one of the best kind of love. the girl i was courting before is still my friend despite my childish behavior of love towards her ( i confessed that to her) [img]smile.gif[/img] . so what do you have to lose?
