dragon Help

Help me please i am stuck on the Dragon at Abazigal's lair, i have tried everything to kill it but i can't.....am i just being thick ??

hey that's where i'm stuck.. you can look at some advice that people gave me under "draconis is rediculous"... there was a way to do it with spell sequencers and abdi's back on page 8 of the forum... check it out... but if you find out anything let me know because i've just spent 5 hours or so trying to kill him...

If you have a powerful mage with robe of vecna, cast timestop improved alarcity then spam his head off with spells, i managed 3 lower resistences,6 chain lightening, 2 abi-dalzeem and 3 fireballs and 2 magic missiles and one finger of death.

I have a level 26 mage but i don't have the robe where can i get it from ?

okok well i FINALLY beat draconis.... actually the fight was sorta' messed up because he was stuck up against the wall. i found the best thing to do is first cast confusion on draconis before he even starts speaking (in human form). this will confuse all the invisible stalkers and him. try to force him against a wall and when he dies his dragon form is so big that he'll be tied to the wall. he'll still be able to flap his wings but he won't be able to do physical damage. just peg him with arrows and use things like meteor storms and other big damage spells. lowering resistance works but it takes awhile...

The Robe of Vecna is an item only available in Shadows of Amn. You can get it from Deidre, who shows up in the top floor of the Adventurer's Mart in Alkatha (she'll only show up if you have the bonus/collectors cds installed or you've downloaded it). It's the single most powerful item for a mage (maybe overall) because it reduces casting time by a lot (I believe 3 or 4). That means that a spell which would take a while to cast is much shorter...and therefore, when combined with Improved Alacrity (which allows you to cast more spells in a short period of time) is really really good.
