I'm current playing a fighter (lvl 5) with 1 lvl as wizard
I have the fairy familiar (the bug ) - and when I have it summoned I get a large bonus to xp F.x. with familiar: Weak Zombie 17xp, Zombie 50xp without familiar: Weak Zombie 6xp, Zombie 22xp. I check against opponents as well - with similar results ( a boss went from ca. 150 to more than 400) Have any of you expirienced something similar?

Oh yeah, this has been of alot of talk in the builders forums because its really tough to make a balanced mod with logical exp progression if the base exp for an encounter suddenly shoots way up because of summons/familiars. A dungeon designed for 1rst level characers to finish with one level up can end up with them gain two or three levels.
From what I gander this isnt a bug per se, but I have yet to see an official Bio-response on the issue.

That's because XP is awared on the average level of your party. Your familier is level 1. You're level 6. The average level is 3.5. Therefore, you get more experience for the same encounter.
It needs to be fixed to take familiers and ranger animal companions out of the XP loop.

I wouldn't do that.... If my Grimgnaw was any lower level I would be losing a lot of money at the temple. A LOT more money. He is level 13, and he barely stays alive as it is.
