What in the world is "l337?" I see it referred to often lately. Is it some code of alpha-numerics that little kids use on the internet to communicate with each other in 'oh-so-cool' ways?

A language used by people who think they are oh so cool and elite. [img]tongue.gif[/img] Takes more time to type out than normal words and less efficient than commonly used abbreviations. Gives a headache to those who are not versed in the 'language' of leetspeak.

One of my favourite gaming experience was crushing a leetspeaker in Starcraft while he was typing out a leet sentence. Poor sod's fingers must have been frantic as he tried to reorganise his army. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

FYI its not originaly from Counterstrike, it was originaly used by the hacker community to demonstrate their superiority over everyone else. Or so they thought..

Yes, that's the case as far as I know. And we definitely don't support hackers on IW. Besides, as most people noted, the whole thing is cumbersome and time consuming so why bother? [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I'm sorry but I think the whole consept of this type of typing is kinda stupid. Its pointless and takes more time to do. As Dundee Slayturn said, they wastes much time.
