Hi, I wanna transfer my character from my friends comp to mine, which is only a pentium II 333mhz with 56 megs of ram. I don't know how well it would run if at all. I read on the box that I only need 300 but in the resd me, it says that I need 400, its confusing. If you are playing with a comp that is similar in charcteristics, I would appreciate a response. Does it load in a descent time? does the graphic stall all the time? any imput would be appreciated!

Because every computer is different the only thing I can recommend is to try it. If you have a large enough disk space I would recommend doing a FULL install to avoid long wait times. When you first start the game a control panel allows you to set the speed of the computer, graphics, sound, etc. Choose the lowest setting. If the game runs choppy, try defragmenting your harddrive. After that, I don't know what else to say. Hope this helps!

I play on a p350. i had 64 megs and it ran ok. i recently put in another 128 megs of ram. My graphics card is a older 3d Blaster Banshee with 16megs onboard ram. Generally, the game runs fine, just make sure your options are set for the kind of system your running.

the only problem is that things get slow when there a bunch of baddies and summoned creatures with a bunch of spells going off.

I play BG2 on a PII233 with 64 RAM. No problems yet.

Sure, the graphics ain't as pretty, but it's the gameplay that attracted me.
