First of all: Welcome to Ironworksforum!

Now that we have the formalities sorted out I can begin to help you...

You can't play a drow or any other sub-race in NWN or it's expansions. The only thing you can do is to play an normal elf and change the skin and hair colour to make him look like a drow. There might be a hak. file or any other file that make you able to play sub-races to download, but I'm not aware of any.

What you should play is completely up to you and nothing I can give a general tip on. It depends on what kind of character you want to play, but spellcasters are best kept single class, while a few levels of Fighters is something you can add to basically all classes to make them fight better. There is no 'funniest class', it's all about what suits your own playing style.

If you have some more specific questions on classes I'm sure I can help you better. Anyway, I hope this sorts some things out.

All characters, including Fighters, can learn neat moves such as knocking down enemies and disarming them. Fighters just happen to be better at it than other classes. But it's still basically a hack'n'slash class.

Yes, there are hak packs that allow subraces. Although I'm unsure if you can implent them in the main campaign. Personally, I really like the cleric class. They've got some really powerful spells (Harm can take down almost everything - including dragons) and can tank like the best. Wizard is cool too.. but often not very practical in multiplayer, when spellcasting isn't allowed (some people are better at this then others - I'm just really crappy at the arcane arts). When playing a Drow male, a fighter is always a good choice. Since Drow society doesn't usually allow for male clerics (Lloth and Eilistraee use female clerics only, while Vhearaun does allow for male clerics. Although his followers are generally evil). Playing a fighter can be fun.. but I feel it gets boring in the end. It takes ages to level up, and eventuelly you get very little. Often just a few skill points. Whereas new spells every level can be far more rewarding. Also, when playing as a Drow fighter, don't be forced to dual wield. After Drizzt, many people feel like all Drow should dual wield, while in fact very few Drow warriors master this art. Of course, this is intirely up to you.
Have fun
