I want to try a new character, but can’t decide what to play, I want to try a monk and a druid…can these two classes be successfully multi-classed??? What would be a good combination, for the long game go for say 19 levels of druid and one of monk or vice versa, or some other combination??

Need some help!!
Cheers

Target-
I can definitely recommend a Monk. I have one now in Ch. 3 who is level 14 and he is excellent! I don't really see a need to multi a monk, and for RPing purposes it doesn't work for me either, but to each his own. As for a Druid, I just started one, so I can't really tell you- it looks like a good class though.

I multi-classed the Druid with 1 level of Ranger- their skills are complimentary and I wanted my Druid to dual-wield.

You really do not want to multiclass those two classes, IMHO. You will miss out on all of the higher level druid spells (some of which are very nice), some of the nice higher level monk abilities, or some of both. Doing one level of ranger (to get weapon and armor proficiencies and bonus feats) is fine, since you only lose one level of casting ability. However, monks and all spellcasting classes get stronger abilities as they go up in levels, making it less lucrative to take levels in another class.
