What level can a fighter get Grand Mastery? And how many attacks per round should they have? Thanks

Fighters get 1 point (*) every 3 levels. So if you start on level 1 you should have GM at level 16. (Assuming you don`˙t put any profisencies at the start) |

Due to BioWare's meddling, it's actually impossible to achieve Grandmastery in BG1.
Let's take a pure Fighter: At Character Creation, Warriors are allowed 4 profieciency points, and Fighters are supposed to be allowed to put them anywhere they want--they should be able to put all 4 of them in Blunt weapons, if they choose to. But BioWare said "No, let's restrict them to a maximum of 2 stars during Character Creation." So that leaves your Fighter with, say, 2 stars in Blunt, 1 in Small Sword, and 1 in Bow. You get another star at Level 3 (+++ in Blunt), another at Level 6 (++++ in Blunt), but before you can get to Level 9 and add that last proficiency point in Blunt weapons, you've hit the EXP cap and can't progress any further. And now let's examine the Fighter->Thief: Same pattern here, but with a twist. 2 stars in Large Sword at the start, then another at Levels 3 and 6. After hitting Level 6, Dual to Thief. After you've hit Level 7 and come out of the Dual, you get your Fighter proficiency points back, and there's just enough EXP left under the cap to reach Thief Level 8, at which point you get one more proficiency point. Try to add it onto the 4 stars in Large Sword you earned while you were a Fighter--the game will not let you. These rules are provided you're not using BGT or BGTutu, of course.

Well done SIX. Grand mastery doesnt have that big of a differance than mastery INTIMIDATOR. If I recall both of them give you 2 attacks every 3 rounds. The same to hit mod. The only differance is mastery gives you +2 to damage and grand mastery gives you +3.
