The Mistress of Puffy White Water Vapor speaks a'right Black Dragon. Of all the many words of wisdom offered so far, I would endorse hers and AzRaeL's the most.
DON'T put any extra pressure or unnecessary stress on the situation by trying to become a "couple". Just ask her out to a movie you think she would like {HINT - AVOID GORY HORROR MOVIES! Remember...movies SHE would like} One other thing I noticed over time is that girls like a bit of a challenge. Don't seem to eager. And if she does go out with this other paramour (before Hunter can get to him, of course ), just act cool about it ---- then ask out a different girl. When she sees you aren't going to chase her...she just might chase you. Of course, she may not...but if she doesn't, it wasn't going to work anyway. One other thing. Cerek and I think we understand why you like to refer to yourselves as *we*. We also were "shy" and "didn't fit in" in high school...so we felt we had to "be a little different and odd" in order to be noticed. We also thought we had to be "funny" because we weren't "jocks". Well..it did work, but not the way we planned. We certainly were noticed and known by most everybody in high school......we also had ZERO DATES because none of the girls wanted to go out with a "weirdo". Had we not been asked to the prom by a girl our senior year....we would have batted a perfect .000 in the Dating Game. Just a word of advice from somebody's who's "been there & done that" Black Dragon. I think I understand where your coming from with the "plural identity", but as you've seen even on this board, most people find it more annoying than funny. Just something to think about.

a) ignore the use of third person
b) be yourself c) MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL THREE! Don't choke. I guarantee once you get past the first few words everything will be easier from there on in, at least in regards to coughing the words out...
