Artifact of..............

Hi guys (and ladies, sorry Wyvern).

Does anyone know which "artifact of.." spell corresponds with which item enhancement.
ie Does artifact of Spirit give a to hit bonus or what does what?.

Hi Desdicado!

The descriptions of the artifacts spells in the manual are not always clear on exactly what they will do.

This is a quote from a post in the BEST TIPS thread (page 5) which may help atr least on some of the spells:
"
2. Artifact spells. Without the artifact spells, you cannot enchant or bless. These are level 4 for Stone, 5 for Moon and Fire, 7 for Spirit, 3 for Vines (adds toughness blessing), and 6 for Fiend. Each spell allows a different option when you enchant or bless.
Vine adds toughness to armor (Durability).
Stone adds AC bless to armor or Zap enchant to weapons.
Fire adds Flamestrike for weapons or Resist Fire to armor.
I assume Fiend adds the Pain spell, though I hadn't acquired that spell by the end of the game (too busy with other spells).
I don't know what Artifact of Spirit adds, maybe someone can fill in the blanks.

I'm doing a search in another window and will paste here additional info as I find it.

Artifact of pain increases damage by 1 or armor rating by 1.

Spirit will allow you to add +regen to your armor.

---- a list by Jazzid:
1. Spirit: Enchant? Bless?
2. Sun: Enchant armour pro fire, weapons flamestrike (rechargeable)
3. Moon: Enchant armour pro ice, weapons iceball (rechargeable)
4. Vine: Enchant? Bless, probably adds toughness.
5. Stone: Enchant weapon (could be +hit)? bless armour AC
6. Fiend: Enchant armour pro magic, bless weapons +damage

I believe Spirit adds Regenerate on armor as well as what Wyv has in her list from Jazzid.

man, all this artifact spells are getting me CONFUSED [img]graemlins/saywhat.gif[/img] !!! all i know is that artifact of spirit gives regen to armour, moon gives iceball to weapon but dunno abt. armour and fiend gives +1 damage, that's all i know. i haf yet to experiment wif the other spells...........
