I'm still in SOA at the end of Chap 6 about to start Chap 7. Earlier on in my game (much earlier; Chap 2 I think) I ventured into the first level of WK to get some useful items such as the potion case, ammo belt and the unlimited +1 arrows & bolts. I explored the area but did not start the rituals or light the fireplace. I also cleaned out all the enemies (shadows & mists iirc) but not the statues.

After dealing with Bodhi in Chap 6 I went back to WK and finished off the entire first level of WK and unlocked the portal to the next level. I fought the statues that came to life when you complete the ritual. One of them dropped Usono's balde, but where's Foebane?

If by some chance I missed out on Foebane (ie it's supposed to be found/dropped on level 1 of WK), could some one kindly give the item code?

One of the statues there should drop Foebane, *BUT*, you don't always get all the statues. It tends to give you what it believes is a challenge based on your level, so not all statues always appear, especially if you are lower level.

So, I would guess you missed it due to getting there "too early" in the computer's opinion. I think that the Baldurdash fixpack can allow you to get "maximum random encounters", which includes facing all the statues, but someone please correct me if I'm wrong on that.

In any case, just use CreateItem("sw1h62") to get Foebane from the Cheat console. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Hmmm... I should be high level enough. My charcter has amassed about 3.5 mil or so xp; Sir Anoemn is now a Level 22 cleric I believe.

Oh well. *shrug*

You entered the level in Chapter 2, which triggers the statues to spawn and sets them in stone( pun fully intended [img]tongue.gif[/img] ) even when you come back in later Chapters.

Your level makes no difference to the Foebane carrying statue. I've been to WK at level 9 before, and the Foebane statue is always waking up when i do the ritual.

Some of the mods and/or patches fixes the issue by making sure all the statues spawn no matter your level. Prior to this, your level is a very important issue when dealing with the obtainment of Foebane.

I doubt it very much. I play an un-modded game most of the time, and I've never failed to pick it up. I'll do some checking.

In conclusion, even if you took a level 1 druid in there (you suicidal fool ), Foebane would still be obtainable, as GORSTA01 is unaffected by the difficulty script.

A lot of what you posted went over my head. But if I read you correctly, I can get Foebane "semi-legitimately" by returning o WK & spawning in the creature GORSTA01, right?

Yep, CLUAing in GORSTA01.cre should spanw the creature with the foebane. You'll still have to kill him to get the sword, hence semi-legitimate is right

However, it *may* not be that easy, as the statue might be non-clickable when you do this. all i can suggest is go it in watchers keep, and if he isn't attackable, then do the ritual. If this still doesn't work, just assume it was a tough fight, and clua foebane in
