snake temple

Been all through snake temple and ready to go down elevator after the snake spirit. Just feel I missed something. There was a gate I couldn't go through, you could see a lever on the far wall when looking through the gate. How do you open it? Who is Klueg and is he before I decend into oblivian after the snake spirit.

Well, without opening that gate you shouldn't have been able to get The Book of the Servant, which gives you the clues as to what answers you need to open the serpent's jaws which allows you to get to the elevator. I'm gueesing that you found the right words to say elsewhere, so you don't have to worry about it.

Kreug is the wizard you meet very early on in the snake temple. He thinks you are a loyal follower and wants to chat. Once you kill him several doors open up, allowing you access to most of the rest of the temple. When he dies, he also drops a key, which you use to open those gates you saw. The key is probably still in the place you killed him.

If your gate is what I think it is, it is the way out after you kill Elyssia (so don't sweat). Kleug you would have met very early on - sounds like you killed him instead of talking to him. Won't bother anything as you would have picked up his key. If you have book, nectar, staff, and incense you are ready for Xydusia.
