Welcome to the forum. Now, i could give you the longest list of items in history, but here's some great items.
Crom Faeyr- Scroll from Shadow dragon, Ogre Power gloves, THunderhammer, girdle of frost giant str. I think thats right, then forge it with cromwell. Red Dragon Scale-Firkraags body, forge it into full plate mail +3 Gauntlets of Dexterity-Seems crappy, but some of your guys probably have the poorest dexterity in the world, use it, combined with keldorn, he's nasty. You get it from the ghoul town in the Unseen Eye quest. Gorgon plate-(SPOILER) from the mother matron in the drow city. Holy Avenger/Carosmyr-From Firkraag Sentinel-Shield plus 5!!!!!!!! (SPOILER) get it from the drow merchant in the Baazar Celestial Fury-Slavers from the Guarded Compound, Temple District. Wave halberd-Awesome halberd. Shaft from Warden in the playhouse quest, blade from (SPOILER) king Illithyal from Saughain City. Elven Chain-From Aran Linvail, one of the people from the Feuding neighboors quest in Trademeet, any of the (SPOILER) War Elves in Suldanessar. NOTE: Any elven chain is great for mages. In (SPOILER) Suldannesar, you get the best elven chain from the Dragon you have to kill. This is a small portion, use it well. |

Longswords and axes hmmmm? Well, as previously mentioned the Blade of Roses and Daystar are good weapons. Blade of Roses is Longsword +3 w/ +2 charisma. Daystar is Longsword +2, +4 vs. evil creatures; does double damage to undead; can cast Sunray (lvl. 7 priest spell). The Battle axe +3, Stonefire is good but I suppose Korgan has first dibs there (you buy it from Bernard in the Copper Coronet). And also as stated by others the Celestial Fury is very good. It's a Katana +3 with many different powers. And even though you don't have proficiency in katana, you will receive minor penalties using it (-1 to attack roll but with the normal +3 it'll still have +2). Also, try the Namarra +2. It is a +2 longsword that inflicts 1d8 +4 damage and can cast Silence 15' radius. It's in one of the crypts in the graveyard.
And now: WELCOME TO IRONWORKS!!!!!!! -Jafin [ 11-17-2001: Message edited by: Jafin ]

quote: You get the blade from the Sahuagin king? Do you have to kill him for it or do his quest or what? I don't recall getting it... I did decide to side with the prince -Jafin

Whoops, sorry guys, you were right. I never got it, cuz i helped the prince. ANyway, sorry for the mistake. Personally, once you max out sword and axe, if possible, start going for the warhammer, or make Korgan use warhammer. I just can't see a dwarf wielding a sword, only axes and hammers.
