War Craft 3! Best RTS ever

And Starcraft is old...very old [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I would seriously recommend Starcraft and Broodwar if you haven't played it. It's very, very cheap nowadays; I've seen them both go together for 10$ CDN. It's also one of the most played online games at the moment. And this is 4-5 years after it was made. Just goes to show that age doesn't always equal mediocrity. [img]tongue.gif[/img] (For me, that's the exact opposite [fairly new and mediocre] of Warcraft 3. I have a huge rant about how Blizzard screwed up WC3, but there's no point for it in this thread...)

Battlefield 1942... with the Desert Combat mod... find a fast server with about 60 people on it, I guaranty you'll be hard pressed to find more fun... [img]smile.gif[/img]

I think I like Total Annihilation better than WCIII, it's got the same levle of graphics but way more available units on the screen at the same time. + You can get it in Science Fiction or Fantasy whether you get one or two... [img]smile.gif[/img]

Or if you are a sports fan and have a Best Buy nearby you could always pick up the 4 or 5 in 1 package. Around 20-30$. A neat little bargain. This year's package features Baseball, Hockey, Soccer, Golf, and, Football.

Well I just would have said warcraft III. I have not played it in some time but I think in the winter time I am going to get back into it.

Rise of nations and the new expansion pack for it. Rise of nations is loads of fun but tends to get a bit overwhelming at times; the expansion makees it better and more fun.
WC3 and WC3 Frozen Throne.
Lords of Magic is one of the games i liked the most .... lost my copy for it ... great game.
Ah and if its in your taste try Gangsters:Organized Crime. Still addicted to it after years and years of plaing it.

I got RON in the end, just the first one.

I like it, just prefer the Age of Empires scenarios over the Conquer the World method RON uses.

I've got Gangsters 1 and 2 somewhere, but it alwyays got a bit tricky IIRC!
