Erm....no they didn't. And even if they did, the Egyptians stole theirs from the Sumerians, who were there way before....
Gods and goddesses of world mythologies have always resembled eachother and had common roots. There are even links between Southern (Roman, Greek) Pantheons and North European Ones (Norse).

Nothing wrong with Greek mythology, I LOVE Artemis. BTW Memnoch, I DID mention Isis. Doh...

I like SOME of the Greek Mythology too, but go to google (The search engine) and type in "Greeks stole +Egyptians" Read both sides of the story

I'm just mad that the Roman empire ruined Egypt. And defaced such awesome statues, temples.. looted tombs.. man..

Hmm, the old norse religions have interesting histories of how and when they came to us. Before we had the Odin and Thor and all that we had more of a nature and spirit religion, a godess of fertility is one the oldest artifacts from here, The carriers of her shrine were sacrficed because non except the high priests could see her and be allowed to live..

These are great! Thanks Ziroc ~ fun to have new ranks to aim for. Though at the rate I'm posting lately I'll be surprised if I make to 2000 posts before 2010!

Too bad I can't combine my work posts with my home posts...that would help a little bit!
