I've been reading through a few older posts, as well as remembering a few from the old board, and my curiosity has the best of me.

Does ANYONE have a link or archive of "the Nameless Flayer" thread(s). This, apparently, classic confrontation occurred before I joined and I have been "teased" by numerous references to it. I feel I must know all about it...

Failing a link, a detailed explanation (not word for word, of course) would be greatly appreciated.

Try a search through BGII archs under THE.RELIC. Don't know the name of the original thread name, but most of the 'good' stuff was cut out by Z-Man. For obvious reasons. Basically, The Nameless Flayer was Flaming the entire board and THE.RELIC and Rikard and Memnoch dealt with him. Great reading. I hope you can find it. I would try, but the search engine takes FOR EVER at work.

Hope this helped.

I found only one post which had not been removed. It make quite funny reading when most of his posts aren't there. I so wish I had been around at the time to join in.

The only one of us not to "flame" back was Relic, and thus earned everyone's trust and admiration and has kept it ever since. All hail the mighty Relic!

I just wish the part where Relic explained real life to him was still there. One of the best posts ever. Also Armisael actually finding out his address and calling him on the phone offering to come over.....guess bigbagger is back at his job bagging groceries

My noble friend Black Knight, old friend Jerome, and my busom buddy Paul aka our much beloved LofA, thank you for your kind words. bigbagger was obviously a very troubled young man, though I am certain that he was never as troubled as I had been, and I hope that he never will be. All I felt for him was compassion, and the hope that he would never experience the deepest darkest agonies of true despair.
