Strange Town Bug

I have just installt W&W on my computer (windows xp) and after making a Party I find out that i cannot get to the Wizardguild, East exit of town or the Mayors house, so i cannot make the mayors quests or join the wizards guild!

Is threr any way to fix that Problem??

(sorry for the bad english but its quite early in the mornig)

Welcome to the board Herzbub. [img]graemlins/happywave.gif[/img] Yes there is a fix for this problem. You can find it in the tech tips thread. Unfortunatley it has slipped from the top since our webmaster is installing a software upgrade. I´ll locate and post a link for you. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I've bumped the two threads that are supposed to "stick" to the top and will continue to do so until Ziroc gets them restuck. There is a lot of very useful information in both!

I would go get the patch also or youll miss completing quests like I did.

Actually missing out on quest is a rare bug. It has only happened to me once. And I didn´t have to reinstall to get rid of it. After I had completed the game, in which I encountered the bug, I started a new one and I did not encounter the bug. I think it is a programming error. However I don´t think it has anything to do with which OS you run. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Edit: I forgot my bottom line.

The bottom line is; do not install the patch until necessary. It is by no means perfect. [img]smile.gif[/img]
