my strategy for killing the dragons is jes to beat them til they die... I pissed off the mage in my group (a friend of mine) cause he wanted to do some snazzy mage "Lower Resistance" or something... I jes beat Firkraag til he died... then I beat the Shadow Dragon of Umar Hills til he died, then i beat the Silver Dragon of the Underdark til she died... When I find the next dragon, by George, I'll beat him up like a little puss too... I dont know what the big deal is; if I can solo them all with 1 character, why do people have so much trouble playing a group of 6 to beat them? you want a REAL challenge? Solo a group of 8 Mind Flayers, or a group of 6 Greater Weres (sometimes i find G. weres easy, sometimes hard, it boggles me).. with 1 character, thats alot harder and frusterating then ANYTHING Firkraag can throw at you...

The "Lower Resistance" is a cheesy thing that won't work in ToB - the first couple of times through, I didn't know any cheese so I did the summonings/Resist Fear/Haste - lay down some smack

does that mean u use lower resistance instead of magic resistance which is much more effectiove or do u just not want to cheese with that?

Thanks for the tips! I'm gonna try some of them on those beasts and see if I can totally make those dragons my personal whipping boys. Honestly I never really have used the Breach or Lower Resistance before, but then my mentality has always been kinda Warrioristic..."Hit it 'til it dies, and if that dunna work hit it some more!"

hey if u wanna do a little cheese and lower his resistance more use the priest spell magic resistance instead of lower resistance it will set him to about 15-20% instaed of lower resistance which will set him at about 50-60%

Sorry, I meant the priest "Magic Resistance" spell - Lower R counts as a hostile act

The Magic Resistance is a "flaw" I consider, not what the programmers intend to be and I don't intend to use it.

The programmers had to be hinting for you to use it cause it says in the description for magic resistance "note that if the targets magic resistance is higher that this spell will actually lower it" but I dont even bother cause my spells seem to get through just fine.
