Help!

Got a question, the double scimitar in EfU is not a choice under weapon focus / increase crits. Do I choose double sword or scimitar to specialise in that weapon?
As anybody used it before?

Have some bad news for you.
The double scimitar is a purely CEP weapon and therefore (currently) unable to reap the rich benefits that most of the regular Bioware designed weapons possess. Sure, there are ways around such a limitation, but that would mean implimenting codes which could easily disrupt the way the module works. (Trust me, I went looking and it has been a topic of discussion before.)

Sorry to be the harbinger.
Same goes for the mercurial weapons, the goad, the wind fire wheel, scimitar2, scimitar*, heavy mace, and a few other weapons I cannot recall at the moment.

Any CEP based weapons you find, you may want to keep. I've noticed quite a few of them have combinations of powers you will not find on the regular weapons. I believe Ziroc specifically made them that way to make up for their inherent lack of compatibility with the numerous feats for weapons.
