U2 has been going for me lately.. I like SOD coz it's fresh and new... their music ain't traditional...

But I stick with more of the old bands like RATM although they are gone already

and some other mentioned...

I hated Chop Suey at first because of the crazy pauses, but now I'm down with the system.

Well SoaD is kinda fun, I like some of their songs but they ain't really metal if you ask me. But then again it doesn't really matter what kind of music you call it as long as you enjoy listening to it.
For me, that means banging my head to Death & Black metal. Although I like other styles too.

Well I agree in with that in general as I have stated before, but on the other hand it can be kind of annoying when you tell people you listen to metal and they start asking questions whether I've heard the new Limb Bizkit or Korn or that kinda thing....I mean I don't want to offend fans of those bands (though I do think they suck big time

), but it just ain't metal

i must agree!! limb and korn arent exactly my favorite either but the fact that there is more that one kind of metal. actualy the term "metal" can be appiled to a quite a few things =P
