Hey All,

I am running Win200 with the 1.0 patch. Every time I select the elixer to give, as soon as my cursor 'touches' Mekdawa, my game crashes. Is anyone else experiencing this? Does anyone know of a resolution?

Much Appreciated,

Ryan

Welcome to the board, wildstar!!!

Sorry you are having difficulties. Have you read through Saz' Techie Help desk thread (one of the 2 sticky topics at the top of the forum). You may find a solution in there. There are several posts related to Win2K - problems and solutions.

Without more complete information on your system, I can only guess what might be causing it. My guess is that you are running DirectX 8 and may need to downgrade to DX 7 (instructions on how to do so are in the Saz thread too).

If you are not running DX 8 - I suggest you repost your problem IN Saz's techie help desk thread and include more information about your system - type of computer, memory, vid card, version of DX, etc. Anything that might help us help you

Thanks for the quick replys, I have posted the problem in the tech section as you requested, with all the details. In the mean time, maybe I'll downgrade to DirectX 7 and see what happens as well as turn Hardware Graphics off completely.

Thanks!

Switching to software graphics rendering usually helps for many of the problems, but unfortunately the visual quality of the game becomes horrendous!

I've run the game in software mode and didn't find it all that bad!
