Well this is pretty self-explanatory. Which of the two do you prefer and why? (I mean the entire series of each game, which one do you prefer).
Pe3rsonally my vote would have to go to Streetfighter, because I prefer the various character designs and hectic gameplay the series posseses. |

Street Fighter. I prefer the way the game plays as opposed to the KoF style, tho I've always wanted to learn KoF.

Streetfighter. Faster, more fluid, and more in with the times. Go Street Fighter!!

No competition I say Street fighter. I've been hooked since street Fighter 2 the animated movie came out all those years ago, I liked it so much I went out and bought street fighter 2 and became an instant fan. When ever a new street fighter comes out I get it
P.S If anyone can get hold of Street Fighter 2: the animated Movie I highly recommend it, its a great anime. Unfortunatly all the street fighters animes that were released after this were god awful (street Fighter alpha and the Street Fighter Victory series, what a come down these two were, absolute crap) |

This poll is just too black-and-white. Why can't I choose both? I like both of them.
Would love to have a figure like Urien from SF3, BTW.

They're both great games but Streetfighter IMO is still the better of the two. Streetfighter is faster and just.. better while KOF is more tactical and has better animations.
Oh yeah..The Streetfighter V series was just like the first animated Streetfighter movie..I thought the series and the movie were heaps good Streetfighter Alpha the movie was also good but was very weird! The Streetfighter movie which had real people sucked hard just like the Mortal Kombat movie. I mean Kylie Minogue as Cammy! What were they thinking [ 08-27-2002, 07:27 AM: Message edited by: GokuZool ] |

Yes, that film really was a disappointment. You hardly ever see any real fights between the fighters. Here's a picture of my all-time favorite Street Fighter, BTW: [ 08-27-2002, 07:47 AM: Message edited by: K T Ong ]

Look, I know this is a cop out, but I honestly can't decide! I love them both...I love 2d fighting games, and I still think they are better than the 3d fighters (although Tekken Tag and Tekken 4 are bloody awesome!) Both of them are fast, fun and require lots of practice in order to be mastered.
Please don't make me decide, please... I don't know...I don't think Kylie Minogue is all that pretty, and I didn't think she fit the role of Cammy. There are probably heaps of slim, blonde attractive girls out there with British accents- why couldn't they give an undiscovered person a go? I thought the first MK movie was OK, to be honest, but then again, I'm strange. I thought the sequel wasn't that good, though. I'm waiting for the next MK game...I think it's going to be called Dark Alliance. |

And I've always wondered thats hair on his chest right, not a tatoo. Streetfighter was a average movie really. The first mortal kombat was good, the second was very, very dissapointing. BTW my favourite fighters are the shotokan warriors. [ 08-27-2002, 02:36 PM: Message edited by: Sigmar ] |
