Import Bug?

Has anyone else had problems importing a specialist mage from BG1? I tried to import my character into SoA and then into ToB ( at that point as a test ) and I found he went from 48hp at the end of BG1 to over 100 when I imported him. He had the same amount of hp when i imported him into ToB. I havent noticed this problem with any class but specialist mages ( conjurer in particular ).

Im not runnning any custom files, but the two area overrides which unlock the bonus merchants, and Ive tried this with those files removed. I finally downloaded shadowkeeper and took at look at what my pc's base hp's were ... and they were at 87! Wtf?

I have no idea what is happening with this, ive never had any other problems with the game. At the worst I suspose I can set his hp's back to what they were susposed to be since I dont like editing/cheating etc. But I wonder if this importing issue has changed anything else on my characters. I never, ever noticed this problem before installing Throne of Bhaal!

That's odd... There's only one thing I can think of other than it being a bug.

Did you get a +1 CON bonus during the tests for the Tears of Bhaal? I believe, IIRC, that in one of the tests (if you choose the evil path) you can get a CON boost? If you went from 15 CON to 16 CON, that would have added some HPs to your bottom line...???

I imported from BG1 ... so not anywhere near the tears of bhaal. I also noticed that it messes up the character biography on import. I uninstalled SoA/ToB completely last night, and re-installed just SoA ... and then it imports as normal.

I guess the quick solution would be to import the character into SoA, and then export him into a character file, then install ToB, and then start as normal.
