Filefront is not going down!

Filefront, owned by the demons called "Ziff Davis" which killed PC Gamer, and other IP's, sold Filefront back to the original creators, and is not going down as earlier stated on March 24th.

Woo hoo! I'm pumped, because Filefront is nice. FAST, no having to subscribe BS just to download a file (like fileplanet--which I avoid like the plague) Fileplanet turned simple downloading into a freaking chore. What is funny is Ziff Davis owns them too. heh.. Kill that site Ziff.. Damn Suits turn good ideas into crap.

Also, my NWN1 Mod 'Massive' Hakpaks will not be needing a change in location, which is great too.

Just wanted to let ya all know! I think it's great that the original creators saved it.. good on them!

Yay for filefront.

and ew fileplanet. MY first and LAST experience with that was when I was downloading something for BG2 way back with dail up. TERRIBLE

Agreed, the FilePlanet experience is unpleasant. But who else will host the cool BG soundpacks and PC portraits?
