okay. Goes into entirely non judgemental mode despite hatred for some bands mentioned. However i should let ya linkin park fans know that where i come from -in my town- they are a band who are ridiculed and have images of them burned.. all credit to them for they are the most commercially successful ''Metal'' act ever in my town linkin park don't really exist but an elusive band called is it ''Stinkin Fart'' do? ....stops to exhale..continues to rant... and for those who dissed the newer work of metallica that's entirely unfair did you not think S&M was mindblowing i certainly did...anyway i apologise for my grevious offences to the ''music'' world.. heres my faves
Metallica. NWA < they gots attitude Ratm < whoever said that they were sorry Zack left earlier in this thread do not fret they have reformed Pumpkins < We aggree on something Stevie Ray and Jimmy Vaughan< ohyes Eric johnson < guitar god check out the G3 gig Michael hedges < speechless Tabularasa < a little known band who Rule ..not just cos i play guitar for them oh and i almost forgot these Faith no more ad the delights of mr bungle

Hard to say. I'm a musician myself, so I tend to not take favorites to any one kind of music. Therefore, I find that I like WAY too many different types of music to have a specific favorite.
Anyway, here's a few: Metallica Korn Bush Stone Temple Pilots Jewel Boyz II Men Eminem (Slim Shady) Dr. Dre Snoop Dogg Allison Krauss (sp?) And MORE...

quote: WOW No kidding!!! I never expected anyone here to know THOSE bands! LOL, brought back such fond memories... Andrea Meyer Haugen (Nebel) from Hagalaz Runedance is cool... she also writes books and she did a project called Aghast and sang on the first album of C.O.F. I have her first album and the second on on MP3...always had a weak spot in my heart for her Bal-Sagoth, aren't they the ones with the enormous cd-titles? One with Ultima Thule...argh, what were they called again? A yes, 'A black moon broods over Lemuria' and 'Starfire Burning upon the Ice-veiled throne of Ultima Thule' How cool that you know them, I used to be a big fan of that sort of stuff What else do you like?
