I haven't watched a game since the strike of '87, 5 more years and most of the strikers will be gone, and I'll start watching again. The Cubbies will be right where I left off at.

i quit watching most of baseball because my team 'the cleveland indians' traded away all of their good players. What do I want to pay top dollar for, or waste my time watching, in essence, a minor league team lose almost every game they play. I know what some would say, and I am not a fairweather fan. i remember fondly the indians teams of the 80's when they had a winning percentage of aroun .300 basically the front office gave up on the team, so why should I as a fan not give up on them as well? That on top of the whole threatening strike thing again, just turned me away from baseball, and I dont know if i will ever go back fully.

Halfway there now and the Giants have a 4-0 lead. Bonds is an animal, he just hit his 4th homer in the worldseries.
