I took my ship sailing
upon a bright, fine day
To find Talrik wailing
marooned so far away

I had with me a hook
to give the pirate man
alas I did not look
now I'm stuck upon the sand

No problem, so I think
I'll swim my way around
I dove into the drink
my thinking isn't sound

Soon following me a swarm
of sharks and crabs, it's true
So listen as I warn
less this bumble visits you

Not to be off topic(by too much) But I've posted on the Diablo2 forum a few times and there's a big difference here. D2 is full of real $hithead$. (Pardon my french) they get downright mean and vicious when it comes to posts. Any request for help tends to be answered with a "You stupid idiot" like a bad Ren & Stimpy episode. It's nice to know there are normal people out there.

This is the tale of my bumble
it started with a rumble
where the Jungle lily's tumble.
Their tumble sure caused me trouble.

Now I've fired their grounds
passed beyond those plant like hounds
and into greater danger true...
my hand at poetry's going to cost me my due.

So I end with another day bumbling
and hope you survived my mumbling
Now to return to maudlin'
and good ol' W&W fashion.

I bumbled up my hard drive
I bumbled DirectX 8
I uninstalled and reinstalled
and bumbles were my fate

I posted to Saz's help desk
and asked him what to do
Hurrah, the game now runs
for Saz's advice is true

"The Way to Brimloch Roon" A ballad of a bumble

(think of a 1970's "Jimmy Buffet" beach song)

Show me the way to Brimloch Roon,
I've really got to find it soon!
I've got the Mavin, and I must go,
To set my sails on the seaward flow.

There's nothing left for me in the Shire,
I've done the castle and the Dragonspire!
But the road westward I cannot find,
It's really startin' to blow my mind!

CHORUS:
Show me the way to Brimloch Roon,
I really got to find it soon!
I've got the Mavin and I must go,
To set my sails on the seaward flow.

So now I'm perched high on a ledge,
Scanning the Shire from over the edge,
It just leads back where I have been,
and to the trails that my eyes have seen.

I could go back to Ishad N'ha,
Or even as far as Valeia,
It's westward, though, that I want today,
but there's a mountain in my way!

CHORUS:
Show me the way to Brimloch Roon,
I really got to find it soon!
I've got the Mavin and I must go,
To set my sails on the seaward flow.

My heart hangs heavy and my spirit's low,
There's no way to get to where I want to go,
Oakenmir will have to wait for me,
Until I find a pathway to that tree!

And then to my eyes appears the way,
How could I miss it, it's as plain as day!
The path leads down the ledge so clear,
And I can go forward without fear!

CHORUS:
Show me the way to Brimloch Roon,
I really got to find it soon!
I've got the Mavin and I must go,
To set my sails on the seaward flow.

Now I'm on the path to Brimloch Roon,
and I'll be at it's gates by noon.
But first I must kill an assassin snake,
and dine upon some bandit steak.

What an elusive path it seems!
I thought I'd find it only in my dreams!
To Brimloch Roon I'd thought I'd never get,
and never meet Anephas or Cet.

CHORUS:
Show me the way to Brimloch Roon,
I really got to find it soon!
I've got the Mavin and I must go,
To set my sails on the seaward flow.

Show me the way to Brimloch Roon,
I really got to find it soon!
I've got the Mavin and I must go,
To set my sails on the seaward flow.

Great prosa Saz. When I saw this I immediately thought of the "Lumberjack song" by Monty Phyton. It actually works. LOL.

I went at last a bumbling
Back into the town
And bumbled into the store
With everything I'd found

I bumbled to the counter
With rusty swords, a score
And asked the kindly merchant
If he wanted any more

"Oh certainly," he said,
"On the counter, place them there."
"I know just what they're worth,
I'll pay you what is fair."

In truth "fair" isn't much
For all the likes of these
But when you are so poor
Any pittance will please.
