Hey I was just wondering if there is an easier way to target an enemy?
My situation is that when I put the mouse cursor over an enemy, sometimes it doesn't turn to the red target thing. I get most results from aiming at the arm, but I spend lots of time gently moving the mouse around so I can actually target the enemy. Same goes with picking up things, especially in the treasure chests, sometimes I spend 5-6 minutes just trying to pick up a little gem. So I am wondering if there is a setting or something I can do to make this easier? I find this is the only thing I dislike about the game and I spent excessive time just doing it. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Yep. This is a pain in the asterisk.
Unfortunately, all you can do is to move around till you get a good targeting spot. And when you get there, try not to move the mouse until you have to The larger your display, the easier it should be, BTW. It almost seems to be pixel-related -- you've got to be on the right pixels to make it happen. Do keep us posted on how your game is going. We're always interested...

Ok thanks. I would put my resolution to 1024x768, but the graphics seems all stretched out or something, but I will try and let you know how it goes.

And for targeting enemies try to hold Ctrl-key down and then move your cursor
up to enemy. That should turn cursor red...

I've no problem targeting the monsters, but rings and keys especially on the ground can be a big pain.
I have Spirit eye running most of the time, that way you'll be able too see items you otherwise would have missed. C

haha, that is wat makes the spirit eye spell so effective in travelling! actually, the cursor only targets the enemy when it's placed on it, so if u target the elbow, and the enemy is MOVING at the same time, u may find that it would be quite difficult to target the enemy as the cursor keeps on turning blue to red to blue again........ Killing bats is a classical problem. One will almost always end up pointing the cursor either "above" or "below" the bat since it is so small and moves so fast. Because it moves in a regular pattern I have found that pointing the cursor slightly above the "centre" of the bat's movement path, waiting for a few seconds to "get into the rhythm" of the bat's movement, and then striking at the time I know the bat will be excatly at the point of my cursor, does the trick.

Me, I put the mouse in one place and rapidly click until I finally hit something. Yeah, I wish that targeting were easier. That may be in W&W2...
