How exactly do scrolls work? I have about 20 of them that are unidentified. Should I spend the gold and identify them? Do you just use them and then they are gone once used, or can you somehow read them and learn them for your spell book?
Thanks for the help

The Scrolls useful if you don't have the spell that scroll , but they don't add to you spell book. They way they work is you go to the use/give button to the left of the screen and you find the scroll you would like to use make sure you are on the use part of it. You select who you would like to use the scroll on and you cast the spell.

when it hasn't been Identified if the words are in blue it means it is helpful to your party and casts such spells as bless, Heroic Might, ect. When it is Red it cast a harmful spell such as Death, Burn, Ect.

I would take the time to identify the red scrolls if you are planning on using them. It is easier when you learn a trait that teaches you the ability to Identify the items yourself.

You can tell us all about your adventures on the Boogre Bar 2

Hope this helps and Welcome to the Board!!!

Welcome to the board, Viper Venom!!!

Lou gave you the lowdown on Scrolls. Books that you find (or buy) can add to your spell knowledge providing the character is capable of learning the spell.

Yes scrolls can be a reak help sometimes when you need your spell points for other things. There are a lot (and I do mean A LOT) of very helpful scrools out there in the Serran! And if you get the trait "scroll lore" all of the scrolls you use have a 50% chance of not disappearing...
