The topic is pretty self explanatory, should i get IceWind Dale II? I mean, i already owned NeverWinter Nights, but why is bioware going back into making 2D graphics(NWN is in 3D)?Although they did inherent NWN's 3rd edition of D&D rules into IWD II, but wouldn't it kick ass if IWD II was in 3D too? Okay, back to my question, should i get the game? Thanks.

If you enjoyed IWD / BG series, yes by all means. It is a much improved game (Monster AI and 3Ed rules) And get to play Drow.
It is a new interface and I find the new features very interesting. I was never the type to go for the perfect PC. I have a drow paladin in my party I never played NWN as I don't like the outlook. How was it? On the downside is... I haven't sleep for the last 26HRs and your coffee and smoke upkeep will be so high that it may put the cost of the game to shame...

there is only one way to say this "YES" better game than NWN at least I think so
and if you want 3d buy Morrowind it blows NWN away.

I'll take a 2d game like this with its superior depth of story, characters and far more interesting dungeons than a 3d game such as NWN. 3d while increasingly common/popular is somewhat overrated in my opinion - particularly in certain genres. The polish and smoothness of IWD2 is excellent.
