...for me at least.
I've tried the standard party: 1 X HalfOrc/Fighter 1 X Human/Pally 1 X Drow/Fighter DC Cleric 1 X Halfling/Rogue 1 X MoonElf/Wizard 1 X Teifling/Bard ...and have almost finished the game but had a difficult time, etc. I've also tried some other combinations of a 6 unit party, BUT, now... ...I've started a new experimental party which had gone through the game like a hot knife thru butter, far easier than any of my larger parties! 1 X HalfElf/Fighter 1 X Halfling/Rogue 1 X WildElf/Sorcerer I've beaten Guthma with room to spare and they were all at level 9 already! Larger parties are more challenging.

Would that then be a 'flaw' in the game then?

I think I can see why you had trouble. You had plenty of healing spells, but low-level. But the head-on force of the party is quite big, I'd say.

I did it with 2, by 75% of the game you don't get any xp anymore.

Luvian, interesting! Tell me more about your 2 unit team, please. What were they and did you DC them and when?
After all my characters have now reached level 10 I'm thinking of DC'ing the rogue to something else, maybe a cleric or a bard. What do you guys think of that? |

The one class I let down on a 4 player team is my cleric. I usually multiclass that one with something else. At the moment I have:
Barbarian - Wearing chainmail, 18 strength, any weapon. He's my tank and has a great AC as well as HP. Ranger 1/cleric - A leather wearing dual wielding cleric of Lathander, I have her use maces, though I should have given her something like small blades. Rogue/bard - Since rogues are not needed as a single class, and bards are pretty cool, this was a cool multiclass. I should have invested more in intelligence cause I lack skillpoints... Wizard - Sun elf(from the mod, cause I think wild elves dont add to the game), 20 int, greater spell focus on enchantments, can charm pretty much everything, pretty handy.
