I've justed installed the full version on IW2 and I would like to import my own character portraits. The readme file tells me to import my portraits into the install directory...but I can't find IT.. Can anyone Help!!

By default it installs into C:\Program Files\Black Isle\Icewind Dale II, unless when you installed it you told it to do something else.

Welcome to the board.

I had the same problem. It tells you to put it in the portraits directory but there is not portraits directory. Solution - Create a portrait directory and move your portraits in.

Does that matter? I've used custom portraits and never had to convert em before...that is unless they were all bitmaps originally (?)

They must be bmp.

At first I downloaded about 20 of them, but they where jpg, when I went in the custom portraits selection screen there where no portraits. I looked in my bg 2 folder, and those where bmp, so I converted the icewind dale 2 one to bmp and it work.
