This is something I really hate. How come after Beholder, there are no more descriptions of the avatars. I may be in a hostage situation and asked what s the Xanter Thieves Guild

I wouldn't worry about it. For one, you're a long ways from that point, and secondly, only D&D fanatics would pull off a hostage situation like that
If I remember right, the Xanther Thieves Guild was founded by a Beholder, but my mind is rusty on the rest. |
