What is the difference between a Sorcerer and a Mage.
From what I've heard, it gets less spells and can't choose what spells to use. |

A sorceror can cast more spells per day by far but you have to choose what spells you want when you level up and then cant change after that. It is bcos the power is IN the sorceror whereas the mage uses tools such as books and other instruments of power.

Yeah but it can repeat those spells (i think) The spells that are enabled are determined by a fraction at the bottom of the page. Sorcerors also cannot write magic off scrolls so you have to choose them at level gains (or at the start i dont know). Mage is better i say. Especially in Elminsters case (3 memorizations of EVERY spell!!!!!!!!!!)

Sorcerors are can be dragons in human form. Steel dragons would be cool as a mage in its human form because of their unbelievable intelligence.

Sorcerers comes from the 3:ed rules and uses Charisma as their main attribute in stead of inteligence. They cast magic more from "intuiton" than by books and scrolls, wisdom and patterns. In the game sorcerers are limited in the choice of spells, and can´t write from scrolls, but have more spells per day and don´t have to memorize before casting the spell.
Sorcerers claims (this is from 3:ed) that they have doagon blood in them and Sorcerers are more common in barbaric and amongst orcs, kobolds and so on.. Well a little feedback ------------------ Yawning lazywolf.. |
