That is very pleasing to hear Gabriel!
thanx all for this...
I just have a lot of other things to do this year, and I can't really afford to be checking up on this forum twice a day (which I was).
I am doing year 12 this year (final year of school!!!), and I need to study heaps. groans...

Accord: I can assure you that I will be playing tactics, even if it is a little different to the previous fallouts.

I will probably visit occasionally, just to catch up. I need some time off, like Suul Yinn said.
It is nice to hear that I was actually noticed

BTW, does anyone else get an error everytime they post?
My web browser (IE 5.0) tells me that I forgot to fill in the nickname field, I just have to keep retrying till it works out that I have actually filled it in. Anyone else get that?

This is going to sound kinda desperate...
but just since I started this thread, I thought about not coming here anymore, strangely enough, I was thinking about missing this joint!
I hope you wouldn't think this was just a publicity stunt if I was to revoke my retirement?
Thats good, I might just have to cut down on my hours a bit!

I hope I haven't pissed anyone off here...

Sylent, that why I said au revoir instead of adieu. Because with au revoir you can say bienvenue! once again! Are you getting my drift? Hint: adieu is usually used in funerals...

Hope Moiraine comes online soon and interprets this all for everyone!

About the nickname error, it's annoying isn't it? esp. when you go back and everything you've typed is gone and you have to type it all over again.

I am hoping Moirane comes along too...
you sorta lost me
I thought it was just me, about the nick error, oh well, I tend to copy everything I have typed before I send any messages

OK I'll put you out of your misery! Au revoir means goodbye or see you later. Adieu means goodbye - forever. Hence the funeral comment!

Bonjour Sylent, bonjour everybody,

it is my first post of the day (hey, Sundays have been invented to sleep until midday, havent't they ?),

yes "adieu" indeed means "goodbye for ever", that's why I always feel a shiver cross my spine when someone tells me "adios", which I hope has not the same meaning, am I wrong ?

Sylent, please revoke ! Even if you post only briefly, it will be good to know you are still here. Hey, so many new people are coming these days, I am starting to not be able to catch up with all these interesting threads, would you believe I didn't get the time to read Charlie's hilariously funny shop thread until last night ? I think I might have an interesting trading shite item for him though ...

About the 'nickname field' thing, I get it when I have spent too much time writing my post before sending it, so the board doesn't remember my login : in this case, just copy the text you wrote, go back to the previous page (the 'login and password' page), log again and paste the copied text, is all.

If you still really have to go, Sylent, don't forget about us, pop up from time to time and say hello, you will always be welcome. It is one of my fears, you know, that everybody just slowly drifts away and life goes back the way it was before, as if all the fun and chat and friendship had been just a dream.

Hi, Memnoch, I know you keep telling me not to be afraid of that, but as Zertyr said once, it is just the way I am. Didn't I give you the award of the most positive and optimistic friend here ? So many people I haven't got the time to greet as they deserve, alas ...
