Strewth i had a scare today, deserted access road to a national park, on the motorbike doing the old fashioned ton (160km/h) when out bounces a bloody kangaroo! Talk about emergency braking and swerving (and going home to change my pants)
Skippy is going to be an endangered species when I get a gun

Hehe. Watch out for 'dem cousins bro!
I hit one once a long time ago. Was traveling down to Perisher for the start of the Ski season with the girlfriend of the time. We'd borrowed her Dad's Datsun Kingcab. It only had about 4000 on the clock! We'd just passed through Cooma on the last leg to the Snowies. Was about 6.30 at night, you know, about dusk. I'd just overtaken a truck a few K's back when this head appears out of nowhere just above the bonnet! No time to brake, crunch! Girlfriend wakes up freaking. I'm freaking, because I've now come to a halt and I just know that the truck I've just passed isn't going to have much time to take evasive action. Drag the GF out kicking and screaming onto the embankment just as the truck swerves past missing the Kingcab by inches. Spent the entire season working to pay for the damage. Frontend was totaled and had bent the crank shaft. The guy that came out with the towtruck later was scrabbling around on the side of the road after he'd hooked up the Kingcab. Asked him what he was doing. Looking for the Roo he says. I ask what for and he says he'll cut it up and feed it to his dogs. Bloody expensive dog food!

I think Mems has been bitten by the WoW and Age of Conan bugs, last I saw. He's around, though, from time to time.
Uh, could someone untie me before the coffee burns ?

Oops, sorry
*unties Cloudy, in the hope of getting a cup of unburnt coffee - blushes with embarassment for not having thought of it already * Talking about strangers to the trough, has anyone seen Mozenwrathe recently? All seems quiet from his 6 sq.ft. of Canada

Driving home from work Friday there was a loud bang and my truck's engine seized. I have 19 days and just over 200 miles left on the extended warranty, I wonder how they are going to try and weasel out of fixing it.
