I signed up on Lycos.co.uk and created my own website, but when I go to it it just says 'this website is currently under construction.' How do I create a website? I want to host a few images I want to use for my sigs but don't know how to do it! When I go to 'Edit Web Page' it just throws me a stupid thing that asks me to tell about myself!
:C

Geocities is absolutely worthless, it doesnt let you host images and then have them appear on sites like this one, take one picture from your geocities site and put it on this board btween you just simply CANT the service doesnt allow OUTSIDE hostin! Lycos.co.uk however DOES!

unlike the Lycos of america (which sucks just as much as geocities) uploading to your site is a snap, just click on this button:

WEB FTP

When you log into your account, click on the WEB FTP button, its in yoru user options to build yoru site as well as along the side handy-dandy user utensil bar...

Click on it and an FTP client window opens up (this works on macs and pcs) you click on the UPLOAD BUTTON and it then gives you 8 Upload boxes so you can upload 8 things at a time, the MAXIMUM uplaod item can be 7 megs, make sure your file formats are compatiable, and THEN when you go to your website you'll see your stuff Listed in an FTP fasion (like my site)

If you have a PC (this wont work on macs) and you want to make a full fledged website you can use the handy WEB PAGE BUILDER options with them but I like just having an FTP index, it saves space and lets me uplaod everythign from JPGS to MP3s and not worry abotu running out of room ^_^

My screen name is riddledude. Thanks!
I put Ironworks Forum in there. But just one thing:
I uploaded some images. Then I tried putting a link to them on my website on WebFTP using the Edit option, but it just put a link there that, when clicked on, says 'error' or something like that. What am I doing wrong?
