Has anyone figured out how to stop the little yellow boxes that explain what your cursor is hanging over from popping up, or at least delaying the popup time to a more sensible timing and not instantaneously?

Not a clue Larry. I honestly just ignore them I usually double click whatever I'm after before the little yellow box has time to appear. My best estimation would say that it's a .5 second delay before the box appears.

SW is that for XP or what? Where is windows explorer? You need to be a little more specific. I've not a clue where you are trying to direct.

Ehh scratch what I just said. I found it. There's a better way to go SpiritWarrior.

Got to Control Panel, then to Folder options etc.

Any window/folder directory. Example : Go into My Documents > Click above on the toolbar and select 'View' > Go to folder options.

Edit: That will work too but this way I suggested is actually easier since you can access it anywhere.

Vaskez, it was nearly 1:00 am, my mind was practically on sleep mode. My body just didn't want to do the same.
