From too home work I go, sometimes big,
sometimes smal. I dont care about rain or snow I always stay outside the door. What am I? Does anyone know? [ 01-13-2002: Message edited by: Dreamer128 ] |

A mailman?
What was that motto again? "Through rain or snow or sleet, blah blah, etc." or something, right? And they stay outside the door. |

An umbrella can be, big - when its up, small - when its down, you use it when its raining or snowing and it's considered bad luck if you open it up inside - dunno, but thats all I could think of

It could be a pair of wellington boots. Beacause if you don't put inner soles in them you can find them too big. And yet when you put them in the boots become too small (although they become delightfully lemon scented)and of course wellington boots suit all weather, being water & snow proof, and boots are always left outside the door in the lobby. Or maybe its a self propelling pencil which becomes smaller as the lead runs out but bigger when you put more in and you can leave it outside if you want to. It could be a pogo stick or one of those micro folding pocket scooters.
