I have an old save I want to export the characters and use them in a new game. Can anyone tell me how I could go about doing that?

Hi hailitho!!
This is an old W&W save? Where is the file being stored now if not in your W&W save directory? If you moved it to another location for safe keeping. I think it would just be a matter of moving it back into the save directory to use. Hope that helped! Wyv |

How though? The save I have my chars are stuck in the mine... They gnome wont talk to me... all i can do is attack him.. i dont see a lever to open the door so I can get my party to the inn to revert adventures.

Forgot to mention, you do not have to get your characters out of the mine to revert your game.
Load up the game and enter the INN. On the bottom left cornor of the multiple icon window there is the icon for REVERT, click it and your characters will all be restored to the last time they visited town. Wyv |

begining.... Im behind the closed door(entrance) the stout wont talk to me where you give him the paper to let you in... Ill try to find it but I dont see how I can get to the Inn trapped.

Ok I see what you mean... I reverted and they all went to ishad na inn not valei? Will they be totally reverted and can I start a new game or how do I get them back to valei inn? I tried hitting revert again but stayed in ishad na! Thanks for the help.. must be easier than I am making it!

If you want to TOTALLY START OVER -
Go into the GAME OPTIONS screen and choose RESET ADVENTURES. That will put all your characters back in Valeia and you can start at the beginning. The good thing is they will still have their experience and much of their equipment. The only things that disappear are quest items! [img]smile.gif[/img] Have fun!! Wyv |

I just did that with one of my saves, but the Ring of Saints never disappeared! Perhaps because the guild member holding it slipped it to one of the other char's in the party while the good priest was talking? I would never do that of course!
