I don't know what I'm missing, but I just started playing BGII-SoA and I can't seem to figure out how to get to Nalia's keep. I've finished several of the quests and have Nalia with me, I just can't get out of town. The section called 'Town Gates' won't let me go past it.
Please help Thanks |

That IS odd. I would have thought that your world map would have updated when you talked to Nalia, so that the Keep would have been visible AND accessible. Did you tell Nalia that you would help her with her problem? That is usually the trigger that exposes the Keep on the world map.

Nalia's keep shows on the big world map, I just can't seem to get to it. I've gone to the city gates and can go into the tunnel only as far as I can see - I don't get the little wheel to move to a different map, only a circle with a slash thru it.
Thanks for the replies and the welcome. |

That wheely thing is indeed quite hard to find there on the 'outer side' of the City Gates, but it is there, and you need to use it to gain access to most areas outside the city. IIRC it somewhere close to or underneath an unreadable sign above the gate.

Have you tried wiggling the mouse about a bit to find the back of the arch? you nedd to go over everywhere with the mouse because the world map wheel thing is past the __ thing.

Thanks all !!
After some experimenting and following the advice, I finally got it to work. For some reason, the wheel didn't show up on my cursor until I kicked Nalia out of the group, then I found it fairly easy. I don't know if it was a bug or if I just finally put cursor in the right place after reading all the help. Either way, thanks again. |
