Looks like I'm trying to get back some of my childhood here!
Funny Face (by Pillsbury, I think) was the biggest competitor to Kool Aid in the 1960's. They had cartoon characters representing each flavor: Goofy Grape Rootin' Tootin' Raspberry Jolly Ollie Orange Choo Choo Cherry Loudmouth Lime Freckle Face Strawberry There were many more and some names were changed (used to be Chinese Cherry and Injun Orange at first). Anyone remember this or is it just me that remembers useless trivia? ------------------ Still The Most Humbly Prideful (?) Member Of The Illuminati! Mark |

You're welcome, Mark.
What about Fruit Stripe Gum??? I used to go through a pack of that in a DAY! And pixie stix and pop rocks! Fruit Stripe disappeared for a while, but then I found it again a few years ago. I occasionally pick up a pack...just for the nostalgia. btw: My favorite flavors were Goofy Grape and Choo Choo Cherry! ------------------ Alureth...Dragon friend of Breanna, Mage and Advisor in the Court of Lady Lioness Co-Owner/Operator of the Evil Petting Zoo and devout member of the HADB clan. What about Fruit Stripe Gum???
It was good except it lost it's flavor to quick. Remember all the horror stories about eating pop rocks and drinking sodas? Mikey blew up that way. ------------------ If things got any better, I'd be twins. Keeper of Lost Cause |
