HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL (1958) in which Vincent Price plays a millionaire who throws a party inviting his guest to spend the night in a house with a murderous past.
Just watched this old flick the other night, as I bought a bunch of cheep DVD sets. I enjoyed this old flick and it had enough plot turns to keep me interested until the end. [ 01-05-2004, 03:21 PM: Message edited by: pritchke ] |

That's a classic. I watched the remake and of course it wasn't anywhere near as good as the original. The guy who played the Vincent Price character was good though.
I'll watch just about anything with Vincent Price. Even his cheesey stuff was good. |

Fantastic film, the remake was a pile of crap in comparison.

Haven't seen the original - but the remake with Geoffrey Rush was one of the worst films I've ever seen. The only decent moment was an absolutely hilarious point that I'm fairly convinced was supposed to be "gritty" not funny...

I liked the mad-trummel in the remake, where that guy is in the chamber with the spinning around-looks-like-somethings-moving kinda trummel. Me wants one of those
