I can't get into the Ironworks Chat for some reason. It loads up fine, but none of the servers work! Have a mac, Internet Explore v. 5.1, but I have never gotten onto the chat. I wait for like 5 minutes but it still says its connecting! Help pleaaaase!

Check that you are not running a firewall/proxy server. For me with my ADSL service, I have to wait a few minutes before it will connect. (longer than with dialup).

The one time this sort of thing happened to me, reinstalling the Java Virtual Machine cured it.

Every time I try to use the chat system it just up and dies on me : / then all of my IE preferences reset -_-

If you decide to upgrade your IE - although 5.1 works according to earlier threads on this subject - It would be easier to find a mac gaming magazine and grab it from cover discs, At least if you have a dial-up connection.
