Anybody out there know what the major values of a ranger are? I have a 11th level ranger, with incredible dex of neg 7, but any pluses are negated...I think I would rather have a fighter of the same caliber. What are your thoughts on this one?

They are good at high levals 20 on up. use tracking more often it lets you know what kind of krechers you are facing.

Tracking isn't in IWD, it's something in ToB, the expansion for BG2.

Tracking is in IWD. That is if you have HoW on TotL installed. It's one of the two, i'm not sure wich one though.

I've used Rangers and Fighters. Personally, I prefer the fighter. I don't know, something about being the best in a weapon that has a ring to it...Rangers should stick to the kennels.
