I have Wizards and Warriors and I love it. Bought Baldurs Gate II, but do not care for the Real Time action. Any suggestions for a turn base game similar to W-W?

You can set auto-pause features in BG2, to automatically pause the game after certain events in combat. Check the game options.

Ugh...W&W is way too buggy.

An oldie such as Dark Sun may be worth a look. AD&D based in the realm of Athas. Good storyline. Isometric view, real-time motion when walking and turn-based combat.
EDIT: Isn't this misplaced? It ought to be in Misc. Games. [ 09-02-2005, 04:25 AM: Message edited by: mad=dog ]

The Temple of Elimental Evil, turn based, it's pretty good, just patch up and it's not so buggy.

If you go into game options ( baldurs gate 2 ) you can set it so it pauses after every turn.

dungeon siege is turn based, but not as good (IMHO) as W & W...just a suggestion.

Dark Sun was a fun game. Sadly there has not been a good turn based game in a very long time. The autopause features in BG2 (and NWN IIRC) never seemed to work right it seemed.

grolim, have you considered turn based strategies instead? try the Heroes of Might and Magic series.
