In Ulcaster, a shortling came up her name was (or his) furret. She asked me if I'm a adventurer or not. Yes, I am I replied. than she sold me a gem of truee seeing for 1000 gold but when I take it I saw that its just a turquoise gem worth of 2 gold. am I cheated? if yes please do not laugh ok? ))
One more question; in bg2 some gems are useful for items or spesific quests so you should not sell them, does the same thing happens in bg1 too? or I can sell All gems jewelery?

Yea you were cheated/when I got to her i thought it cost too much so I just stole it off of her,and for the gems there is no special use for them as far as I know except for in a quest or something and I know some guy in the Flaming Fists will want an angel skin ring later in the game at Baldurs Gate

welcome to the club. I think most good alinged players rping gotten in the first tiem they played. Eitherway unlike BGII most gems are to be sold unless they are specific to a quest. Those that are can be found easily so do not worry about sellign this one to recoup some of your money

I remember a quest in the city of Baldur's Gate, where you had to search the sewers to find a girl's body. To claim the reward for finding the corpse, you had to bring back some gem she had as proof.
I found a few bodies there, and some booty, but since I had forgotten about the reward, I sold all of the booty for some much needed $$$. My question is: did I sell the gem by mistake (was it a sellable mission gem?) Or did I miss it? I searched everywhere... |
