iunno, i've been thinking of whether it would be a good idea to purchase this game or not, and i just can't decide...i wanted to buy it when it first came out but never got around to it, but there are quite a few new games coming out soon that i've been looking forward to and im wondering whether i should spend my money on this or the other games.....

thanx in advance

I haven't gotten very far yet so I can't really rate the game for you. However, I did make a trip to Best Buy today and I noticed that IWD2 was only $34.99 and had a $10 mail-in rebate on top of that. Not a bad deal

As for my opinion of the game, I'll say that so far I think it's better than the first IWD, which I thought was rather fun.

MUCH better than IWD but you can´t compare it to NWN in my opinion.
If you had fun (more or less) with IWD than IWD 2 is the game for you ...

It is a good game, but in my opinion, not as good as IWD 1, and not nearly as good as either of the Baldurs Gates. I'm not a big fan on NWN so I'd say I prefer it to that.
I sold my copy of IWD2 on Ebay, so why not look there if you really want it?.

I've heard good things about Divine Divinity and Might and Magic 9 is much better than people are saying, so why not consifder those two instead?.

it's very good, better than IWD but not as good as Baldur's Gate, best part is the 3rd edition rules... They are really a fresh breath into the game... no more Thaco...

I like it way better then Divine Divinity (mentioned earlier) and it's definately worth the money, atleast if you liked IWD1.

hmm, I installed Divine Divinity and played a little but it goes so slow and no beautifull geo at all, also the gameplay didn't appeal to me at all. Already uninstalled it
