I've played all the way through 3 times with various alignments and still haven't figured out how to get in that house to the left of the way to Vale of Shadows. Used every key I got my hands on, tried smashing it in, used the spell Knock; nothing works! Is there some little secret quest I missed or what?

That door can only be opened if you have Heart of winter installed.
