No voices in towns?

Ok, after installing new audio and video codecs, I can now run the game without being kicked out to the desktop anytime I try and exit the town.

However, I've noticed that I don't seem to get any speech inside any of the buildings in the town. Should the armorer, tavern keeper, etc. have speech?

I seem to get sound and speech ok in the other parts of the game (as far as I know anyway).

Has anyone else run into this, and if so, any fixes?

Hello pipedream, the answer to you quetsion is no. I never did hear any..most
of the time is a lot of grunting or chimes or something but no speech. though i do have a question about the collecters edition..that's if any one bought..is it different from the regualr one ????? stwrsfan1 outta here and the schwartz be with ya

Welcome to the board, Pipedream!!!

I've never had voices in town either though everywhere else it seem fine. I believe this is probably the result of them rushing the game to get it to market before their funding ran out. There were many things planned for the game that never got completed/included and some of the things that did get included just didn't get properly implemented. At least you can read what they have to say which should be enough!
